It is a crazy time in the world at present and as our country and the international community band together in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID- 19) pandemic, Black Brewing Co have been working hard to implement as many new measures to ensure we are doing our part in the safety and support of our staff and community.
To assist with reducing the spread of the virus, we have sadly decided to close our venue doors temporarily and look forward to reopening when it is safe to do so.
Our cellar door continues to operate daily from 11am to 3pm and offers contactless takeaway beer, wine, gin, and merchandise purchases only.
Since the closure of our venue, our Distilling team have been working tirelessly to switch from the production of Gin spirits to now creating a hand sanitiser made to the World Health Organisation (WHO) standard to offer to the local community as well as providing for community groups in desperate need.
Made from 70% alcohol (ethanol), glycerin and aqua we have then infused it with eucalyptus and geranium essential oils.
At this early stage, there are only a very limited amount of hand sanitiser available at our cellar door in Margaret River however we are working around the clock to increase supplies and bring this up to our friends in Perth.
It is strange times for all of in Australia, and we ask that we all work together and support each other through this time. Support local businesses where you can, look after each other and please wash your hands! Stay safe!
